Washington Square Park, Manhattan - Headshots of Jay

I met Jay Amari in Washingotn Square Park on last week and we did some headshots. It was a great experience meeting with Jay, because he is an experienced actor and has been in many films. Jay Amari moved to New York in 1988 to take up a Woolrich Scholarship, where he studied for a Fellowship in Film at Columbia University's School of the Arts. Here he also worked as Departmental Research Assistant, and was awarded a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in 1995.

His two plays, "The Greatest" and "Cloudy All Day" were finalists at Actors Theatre of Louisville National 10-Minute Play Contest in 1992 and 1993.

In addition to acting and writing, he has worked as a talent agent with the Sanders Agency in New York City, and continues to write and produce plays and screenplays. His work is produced regularly in and outside of New York.
