25 Carmine St., Manhattan - Literacy Partners

Since 1973, Literacy Partners (www.literacypartners.org), the only accredited adult literacy program in New York City, has taught more than 25,000 local residents to read and write. The non-profit organization

offers adults and families free classes, from basic reading to advanced instruction.
