Greenwich Village, Manhattan - Headshots of Shannon

Yesterday I went up to Washington Square Park to shoot headshots of Shannon. It was a fun time, and the lighting and visuals that we captured were amazing, especially since the lighting was so perfect for the pictures, and it was windy. Unfortunately, it made Shannon's hair a bit frizzy, but the pictures came out great anyway. It was a cloudy day, which gave us very nice lighting and the wind just blew her hair which made a great effect for the pictures. Please check them out and let me know what you think!

Just this weekend, i met up with Ola again to shoot another wedding with him, this time in Long Island. It was a fun time, and although I was only at the reception portion, I still was able to get some good shots. My personal favorite is the bouqet toss. Check it out!

Central Park, Manhattan - Miley Headshots

Tuesday this week I shot pictures for Deron of his little daughter Miley. Isn't she cute? She is going to be a star one day no doubt. Deron played Cobra in my film, Mozart of Rap, so I wanted to do him a favor (as I have been doing for everyone in the film) by taking photos for him and his family. I hope you like these. My good friend Erensu was there as well, helping me out.

Crown Heights - Woody - Sean John Promo

I found myself back in Brooklyn last week to shoot a photo session with Woody Fenelon again, the same guy from the "Woody Does It" commercial. We shot a whole bunch of pictures and I learned the effectiveness of off-balance photos. It's interesting how much you can learn from experience.

Harlem, New York - Modeling Photos of Carlile

Yesterday afternoon we went up to Harlem to shoot pictures for this model/actor, and got a bunch of cool looking shots. It was a beautiful, sunny day which made it difficult to shoot out in bright sunlight unfortunately, since my new ND camera filters have not come in yet. ND filters make the image darker, this way you can use the flash outdoors on bright sunny days to fill in the dark shadows. If you don't use ND filters the picture will come out way too bright. But we were able to shoot in the shadows, and the pictures came out pretty well. Have a look by clicking on the photo below.

Soho, Manhattan - Headshots of Robert

Last week I took some photos of Robert Mitchell, my supervisor at work at NYU. We just went outside and shot a bunch of pictures for about ten minutes. Here is my favorite:

Robert Mitchell is a lifelong musician. He has toured and recorded extensively as a guitarist and singer in several bands and as a solo performer. After scoring a few films, Mitchell gravitated towards video editing where he flourished for over 10 years before landing as a manager in the Post Production department at NYU.
